Nashville: Tennessee State Fair

That one time I went to the fair... and then I went AGAIN. On another week day night. #rallying

I told you about the Williamson County Fair I went to with Matt which included a ride pass, little piglets, and my first time trying fried oreo (the besstttttt). So I had the perfect fair fill and didn't really care to go to another one. But then my roommates watched the movie "State Fair" (which I haven't seen) and started singing to me the opening song:

And began to list all the reasons why we should go to the Tennessee State Fair. And you just can't turn that excitement down.

So we went the next night. We live really close to the Fairgrounds so we walked over, paid our dues at the ticket window and went in search of the Ferris Wheel.

Before we got there though, Courtney and Christian went through a fun house, and we got some funnel cake and lemonade, and went to see the livestock. There was a baby sheep just one and a half weeks old and it was SO CUTE. Christian even got to hold it.

The Ferris Wheel was a bit anti-climatic, but glad we went on at least one ride before calling it a night.

One of my favorite parts was really the ending though — we signed up to test drive a Ford truck in exchange for a gift card, and the test drive went right by our house! So we had Annemarie get out at our house, and drive the .5 miles to pick us up back at the fair. Because we were just that tired. #worthit
