Nashville: Opryland Hotel

The Opryland Hotel is, to me, a combination of a small slice of Disneyland + a Las Vegas hotel experience (without the gambling and club scene). You enter into a seemingly eternal mall made up of some restaurants, a river cruise, and lots of greenery. It's indoors with a huge sky window that lets in natural light so you can actually tell what time of day it is (versus a Las Vegas hotel).

I can't say much about staying at the actual hotel, except that there is a lobby that has a couch that you can sit in and hear the other person on the other side of the room... definitely find it. I've come here at night, during the day, and during Christmastime when it's even more beautifully decorated with ornaments and lights and lots of photo ops.

It's really good for a rainy day, a cold night, or if you'd like to walk around somewhere before seeing a show at the nearby Grand Ole Opry.

Parking is expensive, so I recommend parking in the Opry Mills parking lot off of Opryland Drive to the Opryland Path. It's a little confusing so I screenshotted it for you:
