Franklin: Music City Roots

If you're looking for somewhere musical and fun to go on a Wednesday night, check out Music City Roots at The Factory in Franklin. Franklin isn't too far from Nashville, and Music City Roots is a fun compilation of different performances and different genres — a "roots and branches" format like as described on their website. It's a radio show that runs from 7pm to 9pm CST. If you're feeling like not going out, or you don't want to pay the $10 admission, you can still listen to the show on the radio and bring the experience to your own living room here

The couple of times I've gone, I've really enjoyed it and seen an eclectic group of performers. One night they had Johnny Cash's and June's son perform.

My favorite part might be the commercials. They have special songs that are quite catchy for the products they're selling. It's like watching a live stage act.
